A stroll along Amsterdam's canals will make you feel happy. Or at least cheer you up a bit. Sit and read a newspaper in an Amsterdam cafe and see how you settle into the surroundings and how the time flies by. Take a walk through the Vondelpark and enjoy watching the parakeets, the yuppies on their skates, the sweating joggers, the cheerful pensioners, the stoned hippies, the singing, dancing and playing fun-lovers.
